Pampering Day - Results!

Hi Everyone

I am sorry it has taken me so long to come back to you with regard to the Eden Trust Pampering Day and to thank you for all your support on the day and since. We managed to raise a staggering £1,500 ish on the day, and since then, with the sale of t-shirts and kind donations, we have banked £3,020 into the Edens Trust account.

The pampering day was our first event for Eden's Trust and I feel it was not as organised as it should have been, especially at the start. However, this was a learning curve for us and I hope the next event will be bigger and better. Can I ask you to kindly let me have your comments on the pampering day - constructive comments please to aid us with any future events would be welcome.

One of our mistakes on the day was that we forgot to call out the raffle, so we had to do it after the event and the results are as follows:

1st Prize - Decleor Skin and Body Care Travel Set - Ticket No. 145 - Antonia (to be claimed)

2nd Prize - Full Body and Face Massage - Ticket No. 108 Robbie (this is my son so he is going to sell his voucher and give the proceeds to the Eden Trust) (claimed)

3rd Prize - Full Body and Face Massage - Ticket No. 347 - Marilyn Robinson (claimed)

4th Prize - Relaxation CD and CozyLion - Ticket No. 228 - Lynn Wade (claimed)

5th Prize - £10 M&S Voucher - Ticket No. 164 - Delia Doyle (claimed).

Our next event, a 5-A-Side Football Tournament at West Ham United Football Club's Kicks Community Ground is taking place on Saturday 15th August, please see attached flyer and application form. We hope you can put a team together and join in with the fun. There will be a steel band, facepainting for children (and adults), cheer leaders, food and lots of fun. DO COME AND SUPPORT US ON THE DAY! PUT A TEAM TOGETHER - YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY SUBS AS YOU WANT (OR NEED?)!!!

We also need referees who can volunteer their services on the day and if any of you know of any celebs who can give out the trophies at the end of the day (4.30ish) it would be fantastic. We need goalkeepers as well for the penalty shoot outs that we can all take part in. I am praying that one of you can 'pull the hat out of the bag for me - for Eden's Trust.

Please do call or email me if you need to know more about the event and I look forward to receiving your comments on the pampering day.

Regards

Elli (Eden's mum)
